Biography

 Hyohoon Choi received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Kangwon National University in Korea in 1999, and M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Dr.Jonathan Valvano from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2001. After the graduation from UT at Austin, he has worked at ADIR (Advanced Digital Imaging Research) under the supervision of Dr.Kenneth Castleman from June 2001 to August 2002, where he did researches on Deblurring Fluorescence Microscope images, Q-FISH image analysis, M-FISH classification, Urine Particle classification.

He joined LIVE in August 2002, and completed his PhD degree in August 2006, under the supervision of Dr.Al Bovik at the University of Texas at Austin in Biomedical Engineering department. He is currently working as a Principal Researcher in Create Technologies, San Jose, California.
