Biography

 Sina Jahanbin was born in Alpine, Texas in 1979. He graduated from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) in May 2002 with a BS. degree in Electrical Engineering. In August 2004 he received his MS. degree in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He came to The University of Texas at Austin in August, 2004 and joined LIVE in February, 2005 to work on his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Alan C. Bovik. His research interest is 3-D facial recognition.
