Biography

 Ron Larcom received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2000. He worked several years at Applied Science Fiction (Austin, TX) developing hardware and firmware for prototype digital film processors. He came to UT to pursue a MSEE in 2003, and joined LIVE in January 2006. Ron has worked as a GRA for UT's Applied Research Laboratory on image processing for sonar applications. He currently is working as a GRA in conjunction with 21st Century Technology on 3D structure from motion. Ron's research interests include multiple image 3D reconstruction, and computer vision.
