Biography

 Rajiv Soundararajan is a third year graduate student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his B.E.(Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India in 2006 and M. S. in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in 2008. He is jointly advised by Dr. Al Bovik and Dr. Sriram Vishwanath. His research interests include video coding and quality assessment, natural scene statistics of non-overlapping images and joint source channel coding.
