Biography

 Ian is a visiting post-doc at the University of Texas at Austin from the United Kingdom. He obtained his PhD from APU in Essex, England in 2002.

Ian is currently working in collaboration with Prof. Bovik and Dr Cormack on psychophysical experimentation to study the differences between local and global saccade stimuli in natural images. Research interests include perceptual image processing and compression, vision science, and computing methods in biomedical engineering.
