Hardware
- Fovea 1:
is a state-of-the-art foveated, vergent, multi-fixating active
stereo vision system platform that has unprecedented capabilities
mirroring those of sophistivated biological vision systems.
FOVEA-1 fuses surface/depth information computed at mulitple
fixation points with graded (foveated) resolutions.
- Eye Trackering equipment: LIVE
is equipped with two sophisticated eye trackers-the ASL
504 & the ASL 501 from Applied Science Laboratories.
The ASL 504 is a remote eye
tracker that is unobtrusive to the subject. For robust eye tracking
in a virtual reality environment, an ASL
501 miniature optics eye tracker embedded in a virtual reality
helmet is used.
- Virual Reality Helmet:
VR8 virtual reality helmet from Virtual Research is available
at LIVE for eye tracking experiments in virtual environments.
