Digital Mammography

Research on breast cancer imaging, and on computer-assisted detection (CAD) of cancers from digital mammograms has been a focus on LIVE for a decade. Our focus has always been on the development of completely new, perception-based methods for assisting the radiologist to detect potential malignat lesions in breast tissues, with a particular focus on difficult stellate lesions and architectural distortions.
